Keepsafe Storage Centres offer flexible, do-it-yourself storage for domestic and business customers. We provide clean, dry, secure, individual storage rooms. Your storage room is locked with your own padlock (a full range is sold in our reception), ensuring that only you have access to your goods. Access to your room is free and unlimited during our long opening hours, 7 days a week. However, if this is not convenient, we also offer 24hr storage rooms. Please call for further details and availability. Keepsafe self storage is a cost effective alternative to achieve any additional space requirement.

All Keepsafe Storage Centres have security perimeter fencing and electronic access controlled gates. Our premises are well lit with 24 hr digital CCTV coverage offering state of the art security. With Keepsafe Self Storage Centres, peace of mind comes as standard. We’ll Keep it Safe.

Keepsafe recommends that you pack your goods in strong boxes. This makes stacking easier and avoids damage to your goods whilst also making the most of the space in the room. Mattress and Sofa covers are also recommended especially for long term storage, all soft furnishings should have some type of protection to keep goods safe. We would also recommend that you put a cover over the top of all your goods, dust cover or blankets would be suitable.

We require fourteen days notice that you will vacate your unit. However if your plans change you can extend this period and continue paying your rental.

A.

Minimum rental is 4 weeks, no limit on maximun rental. The contract is on a 4 week rolling charge, all we ask is 2 weeks notice when vacating your unit.

Yes, you will need to replace the fuel you use.

A.

You will need a licence check code and a credit or debit card for payment.For the check code you can either go on to the DVLA website and print it off yourself or you can give us you licence and national insurance number and we will do it for you. Insurance for the use of our van is mandatory. The incidental cost of insurance is £30.00 for the Transit and £35 for the Luton(conditions apply).

Yes, anyone between the age of 21 and 75 with a full licence can drive the van (£5 extra between the age of 21 -25 and  71 - 75). 

A.

Yes, for a cost of £10 you can reduce the excess down to £250.

A.

The van is available for pick up from 9.00am Mon to Sat. Sunday hire must be set up before 1pm Saturday as office is closed Sunday.

There is no deposit required to move into storage (unit must be set up and paid). Van insurance and reduced excess must be paid on a credit or debit card, details of the card to be kept until van returned, excess will be taken off the card immediately for any damage done during rental.

We send out your invoice 15 days in advance of when your storage is due. Payment is due every 4 weeks from your move in date or 1st of every month for Direct Debit customers.

You are responsible for transporting and moving your goods to our storage centres. We do have vans available which are rental free to use when moving in and can be rented from us at affordable rates at all other times.

We accept all major credit cards, however the easiest form of payment is direct debit which we can help you set up at the start.

You can store virtually anything, however there are a few items which are prohibited. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: living creatures, flammable materials, firearms, toxic waste and illegal substances.

Only your imagination limits your storage possibilities. Archive files, merchandise, stock and promotional material are some examples of items for which businesses use Keepsafe Storage Centres.

Short-term storage is a great idea for students and Keepsafe have a variety of units so students can find the perfect size for them.

Keepsafe Storage Centres offers three basic types of storage; secure marine grade containers in a variety of sizes, purpose built solid concrete poured floors with 4-inch solid cement block units and steel indoor storage.

Check unit and size is suitable for what you want to store and how long you require it. Defrost fridge and freezer and clean them 24 hours in advance. Use boxes, wrapping, bubble wrap, mattress covers, sofa covers, dust covers and blankets to protect your goods. Check your unit on a regular basis (monthly) if possible. Top Tip - Ask us for advice based on your requirements.

Yes you can, we have lockers for hire costing less than £1 per day. Keepsafe Storage Centres offer a cost effective solution to meet every storage requirement.

You may store your items as long as you wish. You are billed in advance for as long as you use the unit. We ask for 14 days notice when you vacate the unit. Minimum term of 4 weeks to obtain discount.

Keepsafe has a wide range of moving and packing supplies at all of our storage centres. We can also provide great tips and insight on how to get the most from your storage space.

Dependability! There is no need to worry about misdirection of your mail. Keepsafe is open to receive your mail. Your own secure mailbox allows you to pick up your mail when its convenient for you.

During normal business hours, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm and Saturday 8.30am – 1pm, your mail is available for collection FREE of charge.

We offer unlimited access to your belongings during our opening times so you can add and remove items as much as you need to. We also have various units with 24 hour access available, please ask onsite if required.

No. Anyone between the age of 21 and 75 with a valid licence can rent our vans (conditions apply). All rentals need to be paid by credit/ debit card. Card details will be kept on file during rental period,  £1000 excess on rentals (reduced excess available), payment will be taken from the card on the day for any damage done during rental. Card details will be destroyed after rental ends.Call one of our sites for more details.

Yes, ALL GOODS MUST be insured to use our storage, we will provide insurance to move you in, you can also provide your own insurance, just bring us in a copy of the policy.

No refunds or amendments can be processed through this Webpage, if you have made an overpayment or have paid the wrong invoice number please contact the office during office hours.
